Workshop

IMG_9476The first Kindness in Science workshop was held on the 6th of December, 2017 at the Fale Pasifika at the University of Auckland in Aotearoa/New Zealand.

The goal of this inaugural workshop was to bring together a diverse group of people and their perspectives to kickstart the Kindness in Science Collective, starting locally within Aotearoa and scaling globally.

Discussion points included the working definition of Kindness in Science and short/long-term goals.

Next steps include developing a Kindness in Science Toolbox that includes resources and tools for wide dissemination with the science community.

The next Kindness in Science Workshop will take place in 2019 (exact date and location TBC).
